The Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro is located on the picturesque Golfo Aranci on the island of Sardinia along the pristine and exclusive Costa Smeralda. Getting to the Hotel Gabbiano Azzurro is easy and convenient. There are a number of ferry ports to depart from for your voyage to Port of Golfo Aranci. There is a wonderful overnight ferry which leaves from Civitavecchia, it takes about 7 hours. The express boat from Livorno takes about 6 hours both operated by Corsica-Sardinia Ferries. The ferry from Fiumicino is 4 hours and is operated by Tirrenia Ferries which also features a cinema, playroom and shopping facilities. All the ferries have wonderful food and beverages available.
If arriving by air you will fly into the Olbia Airport. There are flights available from a number of both Italian and European cities. Olbia airport is serviced by a number of larger airlines including Luftahnsa, Meridiana, Easyjet just to name a few. The airport is also serviced by a host of smaller private airlines. While at the airport you will have the chance to shop at a number of stores that offer a wide rang of products to take home to remember your wonderful stay in Sardinia. While you are waiting at the airport you can visit Kara Sardegna, which offers a large variety of local products; be sure and check out the food section. You can take a taste of Sardinia home with you! There are a number of restaurants, cafes, pizzerias and bars to help pass the time. The airport offers luggage storage, has an information desk, an optical shop, cash machines, a pharmacy, news stand, meeting facilities and internet kiosks.
